Meet Donald “Spiderman” Thomas — Creator of PDN New Jump Swing

Donald “Spiderman” Thomas transformed childhood knee disease, respiratory limitations, and major joint injuries into a five-decade experiment in athletic longevity and expressive aging. Growing up in Brooklyn, he developed a passion for running, jumping, rhythm, and rope movement before rebuilding his body after surgery through what eventually became New Jump Swing and PDN Vegetarianism.

Today, Thomas is recognized as a three-time Guinness World Record holder, award-winning nutrition author, American Heart Association Master Jump Rope Instructor, public speaker, and longtime disability advocate in Hawaii. His work combines movement performance, plant-based athletic nutrition, connective tissue preservation, and systems-level resilience into one disciplined longevity methodology shaped through lived rehabilitation and decades of real-world coaching experience.

Guinness Proof Confirms Method Performance

Donald "Spiderman" Thomas shattered three public speaking world records to explicitly prove the power of his New Jump Swing mind/body fitness philosophy. Armed with intensive personal research, he delivered a monumental 93-hour sermon in 1978, followed by marathon after-dinner speeches of 19 hours and 32 hours focused on herbal fitness and vegetarian athletic nutrition.

Fifty Years In Development

PDN New Jump Swing Longevity Institute is a Hawaii-based longevity and performance coaching system developed by Donald “Spiderman” Thomas beginning in 1977. What began as a personal rehabilitation journey following Osgood-Schlatter surgery, respiratory challenges, and multiple joint injuries gradually evolved into a disciplined methodology centered on movement efficiency, endurance development, recovery, plant-based athletic nutrition, and healthy aging.

Today, the system integrates New Jump Swing performance training, PDN Vegetarianism, healthy aging education, and practical lifestyle strategies designed to help individuals remain mobile, resilient, athletic, and actively engaged throughout later life.

Mind Body Philosophy In Action

Inspired by the philosophy of Bruce Lee and Jeet Kune Do, the PDN New Jump Swing system emphasizes efficiency, adaptability, directness, and elimination of the unnecessary in movement, nutrition, and daily living.

Through expressive rope training, endurance conditioning, plant-based nutrition, and disciplined recovery practices, the system helps individuals improve VO₂ capacity, coordination, metabolic health, balance, and long-term movement stability while adapting to the realities of aging, injury recovery, disability, and everyday life demands.
